Switzerland will compete in the final round of the 2024 European Handball Championship in Germany. These will be the last matches Swiss handball legend Andy Schmid will play as a player. The Swiss national team will face host Germany in a world-record match in front of over 53,000 spectators, but will subsequently be eliminated after the group stage.
