Ruth Meier* was sexually abused by several perpetrators. She confided her fate to a psychiatrist in Aargau. But instead of finally receiving help, the doctor abused her. Meier turned to various authorities, but no one helped. Only after this article was published did the Aargau Doctors' Association initiate proceedings, and the cantonal doctor and the health director later resigned.
