We accompanied Marianne Maret on her journey for three months. We captured images in the spotlight, at the debates, and on the day of the election. We also captured intimate shots behind the scenes of her election campaign. Maret presented herself as straightforward, allowing closeness. At the same time, she found it difficult to assume the role of heroine in this story, even after her election victory.
