Video evidence was previously considered irrefutable. But deepfake technology is now challenging this assumption. 10,000 images, a free program, and a powerful graphics card are all it takes to create a video hoax. Working with the IT security company Scip, we created deepfakes of well-known Swiss politicians. This experiment demonstrates how advanced the technology truly is.
