St. Gallen official on controversial wolf hunt in Russia

The canton supported the trip to sanctioned Russia in the form of work days, describing it as a continuing education trip on wolf management. The head of the department shot wolves himself. The Lapp hunting method used there is often used as trophy hunting and is considered unsuitable for Switzerland. We obtained the travel report under the Freedom of Information Act. SRF reported on it on all channels.
