Europe's oldest people live in remote villages in the interior of Sardinia. I photographed some of the residents, aged between 88 and 99, and their surroundings, allowing me to experience the island at its most authentic. The series "È Cosi" (È Cosi) showcases my perspective on the nature-loving existence of these Sardinians and the mystique of their long lives.
