Within a few weeks, two Albanian women in Switzerland were murdered by their husbands because they wanted a divorce. As a native Albanian, it was important to me to examine this issue of violence against women in Albanian culture from a different perspective—without fear of being pigeonholed into the right-wing corner. This resulted in three articles and a commentary.
