On the occasion of the 30th anniversary of the UN Convention on the Rights of the Child, I supervised a fifth-grade class's project. Their preparation at school and their trip to Bern to meet Federal Councilor Berset were both rewarding and rewarding. It was an experience that made the children aware of what's happening in their own lives and in the world, and transformed them into little ambassadors of their rights to their peers and adults.
