Wars are far away. Perhaps that's why they're so difficult to comprehend. Or perhaps we've become too accustomed to the fact that there is war in the Middle East. The images of rubble and the dead all eventually look similar. A text about the everyday life of people in war, which often gets lost in the flood of news.
