Switzerland is attempting to achieve a full third of its climate target through projects abroad. However, hardly any of these have been implemented so far – a mere 0.04 percent of the CO2 compensation needed by 2030. This means that 99 percent is still missing. Time is running out, and the money is lacking. It's clear: this strategy is doomed to fail spectacularly.
