Nearly 150,000 people with dementia live in Switzerland – many of them are cared for by their family members. Part of the burden falls on children and young people, so-called "young carers." The pictures show Myrjam and Johanna with their father. They were teenagers when their father was diagnosed with dementia. They care for him and their blind mother at home.
