Nigeria is Africa's largest oil exporter. The immense wealth in Nigeria's soil attracts many: there are the "small fry" who illegally refine oil; there are those who tap the oil pipelines and resell the diverted oil; and finally, there are those who profit on a grand scale from lucrative oil theft. All at the expense of the population.

Ich arbeite als Auslandredaktorin für Schweizer Radio SRF und SRF News. Von 2017 bis 2024 war ich als SRF-Afrikakorrespondentin in Nairobi stationiert. Davor war ich acht Jahre lang in verschiedenen Funktionen tätig bei Radio SRF, darunter als Produzentin bei SRF 4 News und Mitglied der Wirtschaftsredaktion. Ich habe Internationale Beziehungen, Geschichte und Völkerrecht studiert an den Universitäten Genf und Bern sowie der University of Ghana.
