After 38 years at the Tages-Anzeiger/SonntagsZeitung, 24 of which as sports editor, and my early retirement, I began writing columns for the Tagi, 232 in total, first under "Espresso" and then under "Im Auge." The editorial team asked me to write a farewell column in the fall of 2020.
