When Russia attacked Ukraine on February 24, I was sitting at home thinking about my grandfather, who lives near Odessa. "Don't worry! In a week, Putin will have taken Kyiv, and it'll all be over," Grandpa said when I called him. How can someone in the middle of a war just wait to be conquered by the enemy? I asked him that.
