Our interactive map provides an up-to-date picture of the situation and helps put it into context. The NZZ Visuals team verifies new events daily and writes summaries. This creates a contemporary document that depicts the course of the war from day one.

Visual Data Journalist, Zürich, 1989

In Basel geboren. Nach dem Gymnasium Praktika bei Dokumentarfilmproduzenten und erste Arbeitserfahrung als Videojournalistin. Von 2009 bis 2013 Studium der Visuellen Kommunikation an der Zürcher Hochschule der Künste mit Aufenthalten in Südkorea und den Niederlanden. Nach dem Bachelorabschluss Praktikum bei der auf Datenvisualisierungen spezialisierten Digitalagentur Interactive Things in Zürich. Zwischen 2015 und 2017 Interaktionsdesignerin beim Beratungsunternehmen EBP. Danach Masterstudium in Informationsdesign an der Aalto University in Helsinki, Finnland. Seit 2017 freiberuflich als Informationsdesignerin an der Schnittstelle von Daten, Programmierung und Gestaltung tätig. Seit Mitte 2020 als Visual Journalist im Ressort Visuals der NZZ.
