This portrait of Lucerne's city poet came about spontaneously. I asked him to speak at the Lucerne Jazzkantine on July 4, 2020, and interviewed him at the same venue on July 6. In the portrait, Schaffner talks about his challenging life, and I included two of his poems with a photo.
