Born in Munich in 1989 and raised there. From 2009 to 2013, she studied communication design at Augsburg University of Applied Sciences, specializing in infographics. Her bachelor's thesis, "Death of a Queen – Why Do Bees Die Like Flies?", was published in 2016 by Kosmos Verlag in Stuttgart. She completed her master's degree in design at Zurich University of the Arts in the summer of 2015. Since March 2016, she has worked as a visual journalist in the NZZ Visuals department.
