Two related articles uncovered misconduct by two chief physicians at the University Hospital Zurich (USZ). In both cases, internal investigations confirmed the allegations, prompting the USZ to terminate the employment relationships with both physicians. The USZ filed a criminal complaint against one chief physician. The incidents led to the resignation of the president and vice president of the hospital board.

Von 2008 bis 2016 Redaktor im Ressort Hintergrund und Meinungen der NZZ am Sonntag, seit 2016 Leiter des Ressorts. Daneben Lehrbeauftragter für politische Kommunikation am Institut für Kommunikationswissenschaft und Medienforschung der Universität Zürich und Mitglied des Schweizer Presserats.
