Our climate laws are quite a patchwork – they contain three different ways of pricing CO2. Moreover, they only apply until the end of 2030. Less complexity from 2031 onwards would be welcome. Two systems are under discussion: the proposal by National Councillor Gerhard Pfister to extend the CO2 levy to all emissions, and the plans of Federal Councillor Albert Rösti for a second emissions trading system (ETS).

Ihre thematischen Schwerpunkte: Klimapolitik und Klimagesetze. Sie ist Mitgründerin des Climate Journalism Network Switzerland. Seit Herbst 2025 ist sie Dozentin für Klimajournalismus am MAZ.
