My report is about the conflict between elephants and humans in Africa, using Botswana as an example, where elephant hunting has been permitted again – which led to an outcry from international animal welfare organizations. My aim was to show the perspective of the locals for once and to counter the romanticization of these animals in the West, where people don't have to live with them.
