At the beginning of January 2021, the Lauberhorn races fell victim to an outbreak of the coronavirus variant B.1.1.7. When media attention had already drifted away from Wengen, Cedric Fröhlich and I wanted to know what really happened in the mountain village during the festive season. With a public appeal and several interviews, we set about reconstructing the story.
