For almost two years, I've been attending every rally of opponents of COVID measures in Bern as a photojournalist for the Berner Zeitung. The police often have to intervene because they are subjected to insults, abuse, and verbal attacks from the demonstrators. I took these photos on November 28, 2021 (the Sunday on which the COVID law was voted on), on Bundesplatz.

1963-1967: Lehre als Schriftsetzer/Polygraf in Bern. 1967-1972: Grafische Ausbildung/Foto- und Film-Kurse an der Kunstgewerbeschule Bern. Werbefachschule Zürich. Verschiedene Anstellungen in Werbeagenturen in Basel, Bern, Thun und Interlaken. 1973-1975: Ausbildung zum Journalisten sda/spk in Bern. 1976-1980: Redaktor/Fotograf bei der Solothurner Zeitung. 1980-1987: Reporter Thuner Tagblatt. 1987-1994: Bild-/Textreporter Berner Zeitung 1994-1999: Blick-Reporter (Text und Fotos) Hauptstadt-Redaktion in Bern. 1999-2012: Bild- und Textreporter bei der Berner Zeitung. 2012: Reguläre Pensionierung. Seit meiner Pensionierung habe ich einen Freelancer-Vertrag mit der Berner Zeitung. Meine Einsatzgebiete sind die Schauplätze, wo die Blaulicht-Organisationen tätig sind. In Bern verfolge ich jede Demonstration. Die Fotos übermittle von der "Front" sofort ans BZ-Online-Desk zum Aufschalten. Meine Fotos erscheinen auch in der Printausgabe der Berner Zeitung.
