Fifty years ago, my uncle Rainer died. He was shot dead by a young man in his apartment in Rapperswil. The newspaper "Blick" reportedly ran the story extensively: Rainer had abused the perpetrator, then hypnotized him, and ordered him to shoot him. The headline next to my uncle's photo read: "This man was a devil!" A search for clues to a dark family secret.
