In 2024, the Purple Eye collective explored the Swiss association landscape. The series "Join in!" was published weekly in WOZ. I chose the Bern-based association "Medina" for the association profile. Medina runs a community center for people in precarious living situations on Schützenmatte and is a contact point for unmet social needs.

Karin Scheidegger arbeitet als freischaffende Fotograf*in mit Publikationen in nationalen und internationalen Zeitungen und Zeitschriften sowie diversen Büchern. Zusammenarbeit mit verschiedenen Auftraggeber*innen und Umsetzung eigener Kunstprojekte. Seit 2004 selbständig als Fotograf*in in Bern tätig. Schwerpunkt in den Bereichen Portrait und Reportage.
