Nowhere else in Switzerland have health insurance premiums risen as sharply over the past three years as in Ticino. Significantly more people suffer from the high premium burden. This article features people in Lugano who have to save every penny. They are the so-called working poor.

Nach der KV-Lehre habe ich 1995 bei Radio Thurgau das Radiohandwerk gelernt und nebenbei den Grundkurs Journalismus am MAZ besucht. Es folgten weitere Stationen bei Radio Zürisee, Radio 24 und Radio 1. Dazwischen war ich auch für eine kurze Zeit als Bundeshauskorrespondent für diverse Privatradios tätig. Seit 2013 arbeite ich bei Radio SRF. Bis 2016 war ich als Moderator und Redaktor bei Radio SRF4 News tätig, seit 5 Jahren bin ich nun in der Inlandredaktion tätig und dort seit rund einem Jahr auch Redaktor für die Podcast-Serie "Einfach Politik".
