They live among us – and yet are invisible. 543 people in Switzerland have no home. Blick TV reporter Matthias Kempf immersed himself in the parallel world of the homeless, spending nights under bridges and in emergency shelters. He spoke with people who have only been living on the streets for a few days – and with organizations trying to alleviate their suffering.

Nach Anfängen beim Basler Komplementärsender Radio X verschlug es mich nach Chur, wo ich an der HTW Multimedia Productions studierte. Daneben jobbte ich als Coop-Kind im lokalen Supermarkt. Nach einem Auslandsemester in Sâo Paulo und abgeschlossenen Bachelor begann ich in Basel bei der Riehener Zeitung und bei 20Minuten Basel zu arbeiten. In der Folge zog es mich in die TV-Branche zum Lokalsender Telebasel, wo ich erstmals meine Lust für das bewegte Bild entdeckte. Von dort folgte der Schritt zu BlickTV, wo ich bis heute als VJ tätig bin.
