On Christmas Eve, in front of the Basilica of the Nativity in Bethlehem, instead of the usual living nativity scene and Christmas tree, an incubator with a statue of Baby Jesus inside was installed. The aim was to denounce the atrocities of the war in the Gaza Strip, particularly the high number of children killed in yet another man-made war.
