A cornfield as a backdrop

In the spring, farmers Therese and Heinz Huber from Hefenhofen planted a cornfield. It extended right up to Susanne and Lorenz Buschor's garden. The field's development provided an interesting backdrop for them and their two children, Angelina and Matteo, in the following weeks and months. I regularly documented the family's progress on the field.

In Österreich geboren und aufgewachsen. Nach Wanderjahren als Freelancer 1970 in die Schweiz gekommen und "hängen" geblieben. Früher mehrere Berufe erlernt. Hotelfachschule und Fotograf in den 1960-er-Jahren in Wien. Psychiatriepfleger dann in der Schweiz und später Journalisten-Kurse in St. Gallen. Seit etwa 1990 freier Foto-Journalist, vorwiegend bei Thurgauer Medien. Die Fotoreportage ist meine liebste Arbeitsform.
