The boy was abused by a sports official in Iran, prompting father and son to flee to the Kurdish region of Iran and then, via Turkey and Italy, finally being accepted as such in Switzerland. Traumatized by the whole experience, the boy attempted to take his own life. In the image, I attempt to anonymously portray the boy's story and his ordeal.

In Solothurn aufgewachsen absolvierte er eine Lehre als Elektromaschinenbauer. Anschliessend vertiefte er sein Wissen in den Bereichen Verkaufsplanung und Marketing. Seine fotografischen Kenntnisse erweiterte und perfektionierte er durch spezialisierte Fachkurse und Workshops, insbesondere in den USA. Heute arbeitet er als freischaffender Pressefotograf, hauptsächlich für CH Media, und führt in Solothurn ein Studio, wo er klassische Fotografie, Fotokurse sowie internationale Foto-Workshops anbietet.
