Even though the result was liberating, the campaign before the vote on "marriage for all" in September 2021 was sometimes humiliating, with its homophobic clichés and aggressive remarks. This was an opportunity for Aurélie Cuttat and Christine Gonzalez, both in a relationship for eight years and journalists at RTS, to produce a ten-episode podcast to recount their "Voyage au Gouinistan," their journey, tracing back to the first day they came out. "Being lesbian, for some it's a culture, for others it's political, for us it's a journey," they explain before introducing us to their world. How they met, lesbian circles, motherhood with four lesbian mothers, flirting in queer circles, the difficult relationship with religion, the political implications, and of course, sex. In the end, can we really reconcile with those who, like this uncle, are nice but still a little "heavy" when it comes to homosexuality?
