A landslide in the Saas Valley (Valais) paralyzed the cantonal road between Stalden and Saas-Almagell on a Thursday. The landslide toward Eisten led to the immediate closure of the road between Stalden and Saas-Balen. Fortunately, there were no injuries. I documented the destruction and the efforts of the rescuers who worked tirelessly to restore the connection.
