Two years ago, the association Ässa fair teilä Glarnerland set up a public refrigerator in the basement of the freight shed in Glarus. "Eat instead of throwing away" is the simple message behind the campaign. The majority of the association's customers are refugees from Ukraine. But the question remains, "Is it acceptable in a rich country like Switzerland to wait in line for free food?"
