The Hydropower Round Table is considered a success. For a long time, it was unclear how the 15 dam projects were selected—and which ones were planned as replacements: the Federal Department of Justice and the Swiss Federal Office for Economic Affairs and Energy (FOE) refused to provide information. In a lengthy Federal Office for Economic Affairs and Energy (BGÖ) process, thanks to additional research and the involvement of experts, it was possible to reconstruct the events. Conclusion: The result is based on data gaps and serious errors.
