This article offers insight into two biographies, both of which began in St. Gallen and ended in Germany. One man was directly responsible for euthanasia in Nazi Germany. The other fell victim to it.

Direkt nach der Rekrutenschule begann ich ein Praktikum bei der Thurgauer Zeitung. Später dann das Volontariat beim St. Galler Tagblatt, worauf ich im August 2022 eine Teilzeitstelle im Ressort Ostschweiz antrat. Parallel dazu studiere ich Geschichte und Politologie an der Universität Zürich. Bei der Arbeit beschäftige ich mich am liebsten mit politischen Geschichten, tiefgründigen investigativen Recherchen oder historischen Hintergründen.
