The 34th Ligerz Island Swim

I took these photos for Paloma Frankhauser, a journalist at the Bieler Tagblatt newspaper. It was a swimming event in Ligerz: the 34th Island Ligerz Swim. There was a cheerful atmosphere, which I wanted to capture with my images. My goal was to be as close to the action as possible. I received positive feedback for these shots.

My journey into photography began in 2023 with an internship at Bieler Tagblatt, followed by seven months of employment there. Since 2024, I have been enrolled in the HF Fotografie program at the Schule für Gestaltung Bern und Biel, while freelancing for newspapers and working on other photography projects. I'm really excited to continue this journey!
