Geboren 1985 in Bern, aufgewachsen in Burgdorf. Studium der Politikwissenschaft und der internationalen Beziehungen in Zürich und Genf, mit Auslandsemestern in Berlin, Brüssel und Kampala. Nach einem Volontariat in der Auslandredaktion der NZZ Anstellungen bei der Direktion für Entwicklung und Zusammenarbeit und bei Swissaid in Bern. Weitere berufliche Stationen waren das senegalesische Ministerium für gute Regierungsführung in Dakar, das Natural Resource Governance Institute in Accra und die Novartis in Basel. Zwischen 2017 und 2023 Auslandredaktor der NZZ, zuständig für Subsahara-Afrika sowie für die Uno, Entwicklungszusammenarbeit und Menschenrechte. Seit 2024 Afrika-Korrespondent von Radio SRF mit Wohnsitz Accra.
