As is well known, there are actors who deliberately spread misleading and false information along societal fault lines within democracies. In this article, I have used relevant examples from the Arabic, English, Russian, and Chinese-speaking world to demonstrate why misinformation about Switzerland is also a security-relevant issue outside of Switzerland.
