The Grisons National Park is one of the very first concrete achievements stemming from the growing awareness of the impact of human activities on nature in Switzerland. Established on August 1, 1914, in the Engadine region, it has become the country's largest nature reserve. Alessandro Ratti, a researcher at the University of Lausanne, tells its story to Witold Langlois.
