The first edition of the Swiss Mullet Cup Championship was held on October 6, 2024, at the Valais Fair in Martigny. Commissioned by Le Temps magazine, I documented the behind-the-scenes events and the various stages followed by the participants. Mullet is a state of mind imbued with self-mockery. It's a way of seeing life and not caring about what others think.

Matthieu Croizier (1994) est un photographe franco-suisse basé à Lausanne. Son travail s’intéresse principalement à l’intime, aux questions queer et la représentation du corps humain. Il a été nommé parmi les Ones to Watch 2021 par le British Journal of Photography, il est l’un des lauréats de la Carte Blanche Etudiants 2020 de Paris Photo et vient de publier son premier livre, Everything goes dark a little further down, chez Mörel Books. Il travaille également comme photographe de commande dans les domaines de l'éditorial, du portrait et de la nature morte.
