Hateful children's faces: The IS youth from Sector 6

Ann Guenter

When Islamists overthrew Bashar al-Assad in Damascus in December 1925, the foreign women in Sector 6 cheered. In the al-Hol camp in northern Syria, women from 42 nations are interned because they traveled to join the "Islamic State" ten years earlier. Today, they live according to the terrorist organization's Sharia law, and a new generation has grown up in the mini-caliphate. A visit raises questions.
