Hindu temple festival in Trimbach (SO)

I did this report for the Oltner Tagblatt (CH Media) for print and online. I shot it with a Canon digital camera. What made this assignment special was that I was almost the only Central European among thousands, and despite being at the southern foot of the Jura Mountains, I felt like I was somewhere in Sri Lanka. The images were edited with DXO Photolab and Photo Affinity 2.

André Albrecht begann 1988 eine zweijährige Stage als Fotograf bei der «Solothurner AZ». Danach arbeitete er bis 1994 als Pressefotograf für die «Solothurner Nachrichten» und das «Oltner Tagblatt» und assistierte bei verschiedenen Werbefotografen. 1994 machte er sich selbstständig mit eigenem Studio in Olten. Von 1992 bis 2004 war er zudem Agenturfotograf und Mitglied der internationalen Bildagentur Reuters. Ab 2001 bis 2006 war er wieder als Pressefotograf (Teilzeitpensum bei der «Aargauer Zeitung») tätig. 2006 wurde er Mitglied der Bildagentur «Ex-Press» in Zürich. Heute arbeitet André Albrecht für verschiedene Medien und als Werbefotograf bzw. für PR. Seit 2015 verlagerte sich das Hauptgebiet auf Reportagen für Grossevents (z.B. für Aargauische Kantonalbank, Schweizerischer Gewerbeverband, Olten Tourismus, Schweizerischer Baumeisterverband, Aargauer Zeitung und viele andere Publikationen).
