More than once a month, a woman is killed by her (ex-)partner in Switzerland, a country considered safe. These crimes are often perceived as isolated incidents. By identifying and documenting all femicides committed in 2023 and 2024 in Switzerland, this investigation aims to highlight the scale of a social phenomenon that spares no segment of the population.

Lena Würgler est journaliste pour ESH Medias (Arcinfo, Le Nouvelliste, La Côte) depuis juillet 2022. Elle a intégré la rubrique suisse du groupe juste après avoir défendu sa thèse de doctorat en journalisme et communication, réalisée au sein de l'Académie du journalisme et des Médias (AJM) de l'Université de Neuchâtel. Entre la fin de son Master à l'AJM en août 2015 et le début de son doctorat en 2018, elle a travaillé pour la cellule enquête de Tamedia et comme correspondante au Jura pour l'Impartial (aujourd'hui Arcinfo).
