After Gino Mäder's fatal accident, the show had to go on. Mäder was honoured by many athletes and journalists, but what really happened on that queen stage of the Tour de Suisse on 15 June 2023 remained a mystery. A year after his death, I meticulously reconstructed his last ride, showed how the accident was almost prevented and spoke to the people who last saw him.
