Drei Romands und zwei Deutschschweizer teilen sich die Schweizer Medienpreise. Guillaume Perret wird Swiss Press Photographer of the Year.
Die Swiss Press Awards 2018 wurden am Mittwoch, dem 25. April im Berner Hotel Bellevue Palace von der Fondation Reinhardt von Graffenried im Beisein vom Prof. Dr. Otfried Jarren, Präsident der Eidgenössischen Medienkommision EMEK verliehen. Die Rätoromanische Sängerin Bibi Vaplan hat mit ihrer Band den eigens für den Anlass komponierten Swiss Press Song 18 «Miss Pompös» uraufgeführt.

Today we are delighted to make an advance announcement of the winner of the Swiss Press Local and to reveal the names of the twelve media creators, who are nominated for the Swiss Press Awards. One of three nominees in each award category will receive the prize in the value of CHF 20’000.

The best of press photography
Château de Prangins presents the best Swiss press photographs of 2014, notably the reportage by Yvain Genevay, Swiss Press Photographer of the Year, documenting the story of a family of Syrian refugees that was published in “Le Matin Dimanche”. The winning photos in the six categories – News, Daily Life, Swiss Stories, People, Sports and World – are on show until 31 January 2016.
