Tamer Tamar is a Zurich-based photographer focused on the dynamics of social change and human journeys. He is a contributor at Magma Magazine and pro member at Raw Society. Tamer's visual style accentuates duality and seeks to create a tension between life's organic and inorganic elements. His documentary stories include the inspiring foreigners of Switzerland, modern Iranian women, Swiss Covid nights and the war in Ukraine. In November 2019, he opened a solo exhibition on modern Iranian women in Dena Gallery. As a member of agency VII’s master program, he focused on Turkey’s “brain drain”, which was displayed in a VII group exhibition at Barcelona's Fuga gallery in 2020 and as a cover feature in Magma Magazine's July 2021 issue. His reportage on Ukraine was published as a cover feature in Swiss newspaper ZSZ as well as in Magma Magazine's July 2022 issue. In September 2022, he opened his first solo exhibition in Zurich showcasing his work on Covid-19.
