We found shelter in a spot nearby mentioned in the 'Admiralty Sailing Directions', 2013 edition as an entry from: “The 7th Thule Expedition in August 1931 is said to have found a sheltered anchorage”. Seit US-Präsident Donald Trump erklärt hat, Grönland kaufen zu wollen, und die dänische Ministerpräsidentin Mette Frederiksen das Angebot absurd nannte, ist das Interesse an dieser riesigen weißen Fläche auf der Weltkarte gestiegen. Die SY Passage, ein Whitbread Round the World Racer, Baujahr 1989, ist eines der wenigen Segelschiffe, die sich entlang der Ostküste Grönlands gewagt haben.
