We found shelter in a spot nearby mentioned in the 'Admiralty Sailing Directions', 2013 edition as an entry from: “The 7th Thule Expedition in August 1931 is said to have found a sheltered anchorage”. Since US president Donal Trump has declared that he’d like to buy Greenland and the Danish prime minister Mette Frederiksen called the offer absurd, the interest in this enormous white surface on top of the world map has increased. The SY Passage a Whitbread Round the World Racer, build in 1989 is one of a handful of sailing ships that has ventured along the east coast of Greenland.
