As part of the elections in the canton of Bern on March 30, 2014, Stefan von Bergen and Christoph Aebischer created a fictitious cantonal council candidate. Since the end of October 2013, this candidate has been campaigning across all channels (print BZ, www.bernerzeitung.ch, website, Facebook, and Twitter). As part of this project, the two editors of the Berner Zeitung are examining the mechanisms of the election campaign.
