Ursprüngliche Ausbildung im Detailhandel. Unmittelbar danach Wechsel in den Lokaljournalismus mit Schrift und Bild - allerdings Hauptschwerpunkt immer Fotografie. In den Jahren 2007/08 Absolvierung des MAZ-Diplomlehrgangs Pressefotografie. Seither Festanstellung als Fotograf bei der Luzerner Zeitung.
