Politicians usually prefer pictures that illustrate their power. Not Daniel Brélaz, the mayor of Lausanne, who allowed pictures being taken during a weight loss acupuncture session. The treatment seems to have been a success: Within nine months and with the help of a strict diet, he went from 172 to 99 kg.
